Centuria selected to provide Transformational Technology Support to the Department of Commerce OCIO

Centuria Corporation (Centuria) is pleased to announce that they have been selected as one of 15 awardees of the Department of Commerce (COD) Commerce Acquisition for Transformation Technology Services (CATTS) multiple-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. CATTS has a $1.5B ceiling value and will cover chief information officer support, digital document and records management, managed services outsourcing and consulting, IT operations and maintenance, IT services management, and cybersecurity. DOC anticipates that CATTS will be used to purchase artificial intelligence, DevSecOps, and Federal IT Acquisition Reform Act program support services, as well as Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification support.

Centuria Corporation (Centuria) announced today that they have been awarded two task orders to provide scientific and Information Technology (IT) support to the United States Navy (USN) Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center (FNMOC) at Stennis Space Center, MS and Monterey, CA. Centuria will operate, maintain, and develop Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) systems and infrastructure for numerical predictions of the global atmosphere and ocean worldwide. Centuria was selected for their expertise in meteorology, oceanography, high performance computing, and project management for complex scientific and infrastructure programs. Centuria recognizes Katharine Stillwell for her dedication to providing exceptional customer service. Katharine serves as a Data Configuration Management (CM) Specialist at the National Weather Service’s Next Generation Weather Radar (NEXRAD) Radar Operations Center (ROC) where she has been instrumental in enabling the ROC to meet its’ national life safety mission. Over several months, Katharine played a critical role in the transformation of the organization’s Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process and eliminating a backlog of over thirty ECPs. Katharine brought innovation in developing project related Work Practice Instructions (WPIs) for major customer projects. Her insights and commitment to teamwork allowed for the effective management of requirements in a resource constrained environment. Additionally, Katharine developed and implemented an Agile Navigation training program that facilitated the knowledge transfer to other team members. Katharine played a key role in establishing the Activity Planning Committee and in organizing ROC-wide events. Centuria is pleased to recognize Katharine for her technical knowledge, organizational skills, communication abilities, and for representing Centuria’s culture and commitment to customer satisfaction and excellence.
