AWIPS is the backbone of a modernized NWS. It ingests observation, sensor, and model data input, and processes these data into weather products; allows forecaster synergy in product creation; and disseminates weather warnings and watches. The objective of the AWIPS II contract is the provision of O&M services, and H/W, S/W, communications, and architecture improvement services for AWIPS. The GSMO-3 contract supports ground systems and operations for more than 20 missions managed by NASA’s Goddard Spaceflight Center (GSFC). The GSMO-3 contract covers concept studies, design, development, integration, test verification, operations and mission systems and subsystems sustainment support. Centuria provides systems engineering and web development support to KBR and NASA’s Goddard Spaceflight Center (GSFC).
