Centuria Corporation is seeking a Data/Configuration Management Analyst  to support the National Weather Service (NWS), Next Generation Radar (NEXRAD) Radar Operations Center (ROC).  This candidate will be supporting the Configuration Management Team and nearly 200 Doppler weather radars and wind profiler radars that provide critical tornado and severe weather warning observations across the Continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the Azores, and Korea. The team is involved in every phase of the hardware and software lifecycle across business and technical applications; they also provide facility support, program management, and quality assurance. This contract involves customer touch points within NWS, Department of Transportation, and the Air Force.

Responsibilities: 

• Processes software, hardware, documentation and requirements change requests utilizing a variety of automated configuration management tools and databases. These tools and databases include DOORS, Agile, Razor and MS Access.

• Maintains change management data using automated tools, databases and manual filing systems.

• Prepares agendas, schedules meetings, records activities and provides minutes for TRC (Technical Review Committee) and CCB (Configuration Control Board) meetings.

• Serves on ECP project teams as a facilitator and CM POC

• Assists in software build release activities as needed to accomplish the following:

• Media generation

• Build installation tracking

• Return media processing

• Software Version Description document preparation

• Maintains critical documentation, including TRC and CCB charters, and CM plans as directed by CM team lead.

• Works with other contract and government personnel, as part of a team, to design, test and implement new automated configuration management processes using Agile workflows.

• Develops and provides user training on CM procedures and tools to customers.

• Assists CM customers in preparing and processing CCRs, ECPs, DCRs and other change requests which includes developing schedules in MS Project.

Required Skills/ Employment Eligibility: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics is desired. A degree in another discipline may be substituted depending on other qualifications, such as length and type of specialized experience.

• Must have 4+ years’ experience in increasing complexity in data or hardware and/or software configuration management.

• Must have experience using MS Word, MS Project, MS Access, and MS Excel

• Skilled in writing correspondence, meeting agendas/minutes and plans/procedures.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-functional team. 

• Ability to develop and deliver effective oral presentations.

• Ability to coordinate with various branches and teams within the ROC as well as external users at the NWS, FAA and DoD.

• Oracle Agile experience desired.

• IBM Rational DOORS experience desired.
